The Deerfest video from episode four has shown up online.

As you’ll remember from episode 4 (titled Local Flavor), Jake goes into a trance while watching this odd video for Deerfest. The event is also mentioned on the radio in episode 2 (Time Flies).
Some people have asked me…what’s the big deal about Deerfest? I think that this sums it up: it’s about friendship and community.
There have been several incidents relating to deer – Jake’s accident, the notepad, the man with the deer head – but I think all this is a bit of a red herring. I don’t feel like everything is leading up to Deerfest, or that Deerfest has anything to do with what’s going on. It’s just one of the odd events of this little town…part of the backdrop. Deerfest tells us more about what kind of place Bright Falls is, not what’s going on under the surface.
